Forward to the finale!
As you can see the edges have dried

Now comes the blowhole

I've decided to make the blow hole the mouth of a clown

...and the power button is going to be the nose

But it had to be painted. Duh, it's got to be red.

Is the image appearing or what?

Here's the image I went with.

I bought a Lite-On DVD drive. It can burn CD's, but not DVD's
First 2 coats of the white primer.

Then the red top coat x3

And I slid it into place.

Here it is with the drives and the red LED fan

And here's a little dimmer one.

If you look at the top of the case, a little to the left shows "Orange Peel". An uneven paint job
that shows signs of dips and highs

The next two pics show that I fixed it by adding more paint.

Now to move on to the untouched window panel. I decided long and hard on using the image of a balloon
dog for the window.

I then transferred the image to the panel

And began the cutting

After I cut it out I was left with a lot of real dangerous edges

So I did some filing, grinding and sanding

Then went on the yellow paint.

I decided to put a handle on the case

And after I painted it and mounted it to the case

Next up, I wanted to braid the PSU cables in something clown/party themed
I picked up this plastic party tablecloth at a local party supply store for $3.00

The I wrapped it around the ugly cables and used a lighter to melt it like "heat shrink"

As you see it turned out real well and it took about 20 minutes to do.

Next time we will be starting the component installing process. Till then.....
