Here we go on another modding adventure.
Today I present a Mod dedicated to the Architects who are
on the cutting edge of futuristic building design. Imagine if these artists took their talent to PC building?
I used a Thermaltake V3 that I got for $20
Here it is out of the box
I'm going to be removing a large portion of the case to get
in line with the "craziness" that you would expect in architecture these days.
I also took out all of the drive bays too
Here is the bracket I'll be making to fill this void
It's an easy thing to make. Just draw out the lines where
it'll be bent
Then scour the lines with a rotary tool
And then use a rubber mallet to pound it into place
I added it to the case and ran some support bars too
I riveted the left panel on
However, it's not going to stay like this though
Standard case feet won't do for this unique build
I really like the sleek look of these cabinet handles
I just had to cut the screws down to accomodate a thin case
and not a thick cabinet door
The case seems to sit nice and level
Next, I covered the old intake grill
Then I cut through the other side
And I added support bars to the shroud
Time for some bondo!
